About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join a children’s residential home based in Ilford, London. This is a full-time position supporting the day-to-day running of the home, working closely with the Registered Manager to ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance are maintained.

Shift Pattern

• 8–12 hour shifts
• No nights or sleep-ins required
• Alternate weekend availability required

About the Service

With more than a decade of experience in social care, this service provides tailored support to children and young people within their local communities. The focus is on supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, ensuring their safeguarding and welfare remain at the centre of care delivery.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care
• Understanding of Ofsted regulations and compliance requirements
• Knowledge of social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and their impact on young people
