Childrens Home Registered Manager

Location: Whaplode, PE12
Salary: Up to £67,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance.

This is a key leadership role responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, staff leadership, Ofsted compliance, and delivering positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Successfully register with Ofsted as Registered Manager
• Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations, safeguarding procedures, and company policies
• Lead and manage the residential staff team to deliver high-quality care
• Promote safeguarding and child protection practices throughout the service
• Support, motivate, and develop staff through effective leadership and supervision
• Ensure resources and staffing are effectively managed
• Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage financial performance and operational targets
• Drive continuous improvement and best practice across the home
• Promote a positive, open, and child-centred culture

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and Ofsted regulations
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working within Children’s Homes in the last 5 years
• Minimum 1 year supervisory or management experience
• Previous or current Ofsted Registered Manager experience preferred
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Level 5 Qualification in Health & Social Care / Leadership & Management preferred
